ITAP (Institute of Advanced Production Technologies) is a university research institute (IUI) of the University of Valladolid formed by more than 32 professors from multiple areas of knowledge. Most of them belong to the School of Industrial Engineering, although there are members of the Faculty of Medicine and the University School of Agricultural Engineering. Multiple professionals also collaborate, highlighting researchers from the Cartif Foundation and doctors from the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valladolid.
All of them participate in tasks in the field of engineering, combining teaching tasks with research and technology transfer.

The ITAP university institute has spaces for the administrative secretariat of the institute, which is located at the Paseo del Cauce headquarters of the School of Industrial Engineering. It also has laboratories provided by the main research groups that make it up (Fluids, Thermotechnics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Networks, Structures and Robotics laboratories).
