Research groups

The various members of the institute form research groups, some of which have institutional recognition. Specifically, the Regional Government of Castile and León, through Order EDU/1006/2014, regulates recognition as a Consolidated Research Unit (UIC), and the University of Valladolid establishes the procedure (approved by the Governing Council on September 28, 2009) for classification as a Recognized Research Group (GIR). Currently, the institute has representation from two UICs and six GIRs, as indicated below. Other thematic groups formed by ITAP members are also listed.
